Year on year the quality of food available in the UK improves and our local suppliers and communities do a great job at helping us serve up the best.

When it comes to fresh produce, we take pride in striving to keep it as local and seasonal as humanly possible. For our meat and game, we like to give something back to our hardworking British farmers by using a select group of quality British butchers. Our fresh vegetables come straight from the local area if not from our own gardens or foraged in the local parks.(Fear not we have been given permission) Our fish is sourced from certified sustainable sources, who work with the seasons. Not only does this give us peace of mind but makes the catch of the day for our daily special all the more fresh & interesting!

For our extensive collection of hand-selected wines, we keep our cabinets /cantina well & truly stocked from boutique suppliers. With their nose to the ground and an ear to the grapevine, they are always on the hunt for untapped regions, helping us ensure that our lists stay exciting. When they find something new, we will more than likely buy a few cases and chalk it up on the boards at a really decent price.

Abbey Cheese – A family-run business in Leighton Buzzard, Abbey supply the Park with a wonderful selection of Cheese.

Aubrey Allen – Butcher’s and Delicatessen From 30 day Dry-Aged Steaks to award-winning sausages, Aubrey Allen are committed to providing our chefs with quality, ethically sourced meat.

Bob “The Veg Man” – Local supplier Bob brings veg & fruit over to The Swan Inn Denham & The Old Queens Head from nearby Holmers Green.

Chiltern Fish & Game –  Purveyors of fresh fish & meat, Chiltern Fish & Game keep the Old Queens Head & The Swan Inn Denham stocked up with quality, seasonal produce that they source directly from Billingsgate & Smithfields market.

Ellis wines – An independent, family-owned on-trade supplier, their portfolio boasts over 40 superb producers from around the globe.

Halls of Hazelmere – This family-run butcher’s in Hazelmere was established in 1966. They provide The Old Queens Head with the perfect bangers to go with their mash

Stickleback Fish – An independent company located in Hertfordshire with 50 years of family experience in the fish market.

Stokes Farm – Keepers of “happy chickens’ & suppliers of free-range eggs to The Old Queens Head.

Woburn Country Foods –  A gourmet, father & daughter run, quality Butcher’s located in Bedfordshire. Andrew & Helen help keep The Swan Inn, The Park & their neighbours, The Chequers supplied with quality meats. They even created a bespoke sausage for the Swan Inn, tailored to the Head Chef’s requirements.
